NO PERFLUOROCARBONS -- When overheated, perfluorocarbons (such as PTFE) release gases that cause "polymer fume fever", a flu-like illness that can last for 24 hours or more. Sonotech couplants do not contain perfluorocarbons.
VISCOSITY: Viscosity, or thickness, of couplants is noted by a grade (GR) following the name of the couplant. The lower the number, the lower the viscosity.
