Clear Image® is Sonotech's highest viscosity scanning gel, formulated for all ultrasound imaging including echocardiography, vascular, handheld Doppler, radiology and OB/GYN.
Clear Image has acoustic properties that minimize refraction through skin while optimizing coupling. Its gel sound velocity is 99.5% that of skin (1.518 cm/sec x 105) and the gel acoustic impedance is 1.54 x 106 Kg/m2sec.

LithoClear® is an acoustic transmission gel for dry contact ESWL (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy) with minimized air bubbles and optimized acoustic properties. ESWL requires eliminating all air bubbles of any size in the acoustic interface. LithoClear is Sonotech's response to this requirement.
LithoClear presents a clear pathway for shock wave acoustics in ESWL with no reflection or scattering due to micro or macro air bubbles. Bubbles in acoustic transmission gel can cause scattering or reflection of the shock wave, resulting in less acoustic energy at the focal point with which to fragment the kidney stone.
